I have been incorporating my Essential Oils into my Yoga and Meditation practice, and since doing so, it has turned my Yoga practice upside down. Sometimes even literally. This month, my oils gave me the courage to tackle some more challenging poses that I usually am not a fan of (see Days 100, 101, 106, 117 to know what I’m talking about). I have been practicing Yoga for over 6 years. In all that time, I have never gotten up the courage to try some of the more difficult…and downright scarier looking poses. I really do attribute my newfound inner strength, focus, mental balance & bravery to my Young Living Essential Oils. I try to incorporate a different oil(s) every month into my practice.
Here is the one I picked and how it has helped me this month:
After spending 2 weeks packing up our house all by myself, cleaning the heck outta the house-with Lauren’s help, moving back into the RV-with my Husband, The Barbarian & Pip’s help, then UN-packing the RV all by myself…the ONLY thing I have needed this month…and especially for Yoga…is to be more Grounded. It is for exactly what it says it’s for. GROUNDING*. With everything that this month has put me through…and there’s even more that I haven’t even gone into yet, that’s all I needed. I have been diffusing it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I swear it is the ONLY reason I am still sane. And it grounded me enough to try those 4 advanced poses I mentioned above, too. This oil, hands down, is easily my pick for oil of the month. If you don’t have some, GET SOME. I’m serious. You guys know I don’t ever tell you what to do. It is THAT amazing.
