I have been incorporating my Essential Oils into my Yoga and Meditation practice, and since doing so, it has turned my Yoga practice upside down. Sometimes even literally. By using oils to encourage and bring out my determined and fierce side, I have found the strength to attempt poses that I would’ve never tried before (see Days 63, 64, 70, 82 & 83 to know what I’m talking about). I have been practicing Yoga for over 6 years. In all that time, I have never gotten up the courage to try some of the more difficult…and downright scarier looking poses. I really do attribute my newfound inner strength, focus, mental balance & bravery to my Young Living Essential Oils. I incorporated different oils this month into my practice.

Here’s how they have helped me this month:

Grounding™: is a relaxing and balancing blend of essential oils that provides a stabilizing influence. It is in my diffuser every single time I flow and/or practice my postures.

Stress Away™: is a natural solution created to combat normal stresses that creep into everyday life. It helps to reduce mental rigidity and restore equilibrium. Featuring powerful plant constituents, such as the Cedrol found in Cedarwood and the Eugenol that occurs naturally in vanilla, Stress Away can help induce relaxation and reduce occasional nervous tension*. It gets applied behind my earlobes, my temples and my wrists. Stress Away is my most favorite essential oil honestly. It goes EVERYWHERE with me.

Wintergreen: contains the same active ingredient (methyl salicylate) as birch and is beneficial in massage for soothing head tension and muscles after exercising. It is fabulous when applied to my achy muscles are practicing my flows and postures.
