I made terra cotta dread beads for my essential oils to go on. It’s like having a personal diffuser on me at all times.
Heaven.

I spoke about this last month, and I’m going to EVERY month…so hopefully you don’t get tired of it. I have been incorporating my Essential Oils* into my Yoga and Meditation practice, and since doing so, it has turned my Yoga practice upside down. Sometimes even literally. By using oils to encourage and bring out my determined and fierce side, I have found the strength to attempt poses that I would’ve never tried before (see Days 33, 34, 38, 44, 50, 54, & 57 to know what I’m referring to). I have been practicing Yoga for 6 years. In all that time, I have never gotten up the courage to try some of the more difficult…and downright scarier looking poses. I really do attribute my newfound inner strength, focus, mental balance & bravery to my Young Living Essential Oils.

Here’s how they have helped me:

Cedarwood-Promotes Relaxation, balance & increased mental focus.*

Cypress-Promotes a sense of security and grounding. Yes. Yes it does.

Lemon-An instant pick-me-up. Promotes energy and mental clarity.

Peppermint-Is energizing and uplifting.

Rosemary-Promotes mental clarity and concentration.

Vetiver-Has a grounding effect and promotes relaxation.

Joy-Has a magnetic energy bringing happiness to the heart (I love dabbing this on just before practicing my heart openers).

Release-This is a biggie for me…as I am NOT ALWAYS able to achieve every pose I’d like to accomplish. When that happens, I apply my Release oil. It facilitates the ability to let go of anger and frustration, promoting harmony and balance of the mind and body.

By the end of this month, I have already noticed a difference in my strength, balance and flexibility. I am seriously LOVING this challenge! I can’t wait to compare pictures at the end of the year. I hope you are all doing well, and if you are interested in joining our Yoga For Every Body group on Facebook, you can join by clicking HERE. It is for all levels…from “I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m interested” to “I own a Yoga studio”. Head on over there and introduce yourself! We love making new Yogi and Yogini friends and finding new inspiration!!!

Namaste.
