The time has come to bid farewell to our fun fulltiming lifestyle and head back home to Colorado. Nic’s new promotion came with relocating back home and the Winters in the Rocky Mountains are too tough for our RV, so we’re going to rent a house and put her in storage indefinitely.
We packed up our belongings in a week, bid our friends goodbye, waved farewell to one of the best RV parks we’ve stayed at in these past 18 months and hit the road…Colorado bound.
Goodbye to THE BEST site we’ve ever had. We had our own yard, and a giant Cottonwood tree protecting us.
We had great friends right next door and an excellent Chinese restaurant in town.
For 8 wonderful months, it was our home…and now we’re really gonna miss it.
If you’re ever in the 4 Corners region and are looking for somewhere to stay, you should stay at the Desert Rose @ 4 Corners RV Park, located in the small and quiet town of Bloomfield, New Mexico. Their roses were still blooming in November when we left!
Mojo slept on top of the cats in their carriers, and the girls watched movies.
I just enjoyed the scenery…just like I always do. This is a BEAUTIFUL country that we live in.
Goodbye New Mexico and Hello Colorado.
As the Sun set beside us, we began to catch our first few glimpses of white capped mountains off in the distance.
We were home.
It was hard to leave our new friends and one of our favorite RV parks behind, but in the end, this is a new path unfolding in our lives and we just have to walk it to see where it will lead us. Everything happens for a reason. It’s time to see what that reason is…
