Cindy took this pic! I am astonished that this little girl takes better pictures than most people I know, including myself!
A messy boho braided updo.
Showin’ off my newest Ross finds: A scarf, headband (not pictured), leggings & t-shirt (not pictured).
Boho bikini compliments a la Target.
Who wouldn’t wanna fall asleep on this bed? It beckons for you to sit a spell & then lulls you to sleep.
Boho Big Girl.
MHG in her element…goofin’ off and reading.
Flowers we’ve picked from around our RV park.
Boho lights from Camping World.
20 Lights for $20. Just make sure to check the box to ensure the cord is included. Ours wasn’t, but it was too far of a drive to go back for it. Luckily, a strand of Christmas lights did the trick.
Boho Beauty Tricks.
An Avocado, honey, lemon juice & olive oil face mask complete with cucumbers on the eyes to reduce puffiness.
A hair mask made of 1 organic egg, juice of 1 grapefruit, juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 cup of coconut oil, 20 drops of tea tree oil. Whip together, apply & leave on hair for 30-60 minutes (I did 60). Wash out with your usual shampoo. Leaves hair fully moisturized, light & silky soft.
To whiten teeth naturally: 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide & a small squeeze of your toothpaste (optional-for flavor). Brush teeth for 2 minutes, gargle with any leftover mixture when done. Do not repeat more than twice a week.
Zucchini “Pasta” with Pesto Sauce
(Pictured Above) Energy Bites
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup carob chips (or chocolate chips if going non-vegan)
- 1/2 cup ground (milled) flaxseed
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 tspn vanilla
Mix well together and form into balls. Eat & enjoy! These didn’t even last 2 whole days in our home.
(Pictured Above) Vegan Chocolate Mousse
- 2 fully ripened avocados (trust me, you will not taste them AT ALL once recipe is complete)
- 1/4 cup Cocoa
- 1/4 cup Raw (if possible) Agave Syrup
- 1/4 cup Almond (or Coconut) Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Puree until smooth. Serve chilled. I left mine in the freezer for a couple days. Although, I ate half the mixture before it even made it to the freezer, lol! I didn’t share even a spoon licking amount. I’m so mean.
My new Boho fruit bowl!
I took the white dress that I bought at Wal-Mart last summer in Virginia and sewed trim onto it. (It was originally too short for my tastes.) I made the trim out of an old t-shirt that I really loved, but that didn’t sit quite right on me. The pants I made from repurposing a long skirt. I had no pattern and no idea what I was doing, but I don’t think I did half bad…considering I was totally winging it!
MHG & her friend Blondie built the Faeries a home so they would have somewhere safe to go.
I wove a bed out of the bushes we have in front of our RV. Cindy picked up the fallen flowers off the ground, under another bush, to hide their bathtub.
Their kitchen comes complete with a sink (not pictured, but it’s the bathtubs lid) & a nice flat rock to act as a table. Almonds were for dinner.
The left pic shows the path to the entrance of their bedroom. The right pic shows their garden.
Sister gnome guards from her watchtower high up in the Palm Tree. Papoo gnome stands guard outside their door. Although, he seems a little more interested in his mushrooms right now…
We are so grateful and thankful for this man and we love him so much…
…Best. Dad. Ever.
The last sunset we saw at the park we were staying at before we moved to this one.
