After a long exhausting drive from Virginia to Arizona, we finally woke up feeling anew and ready to tackle the day. It was our first morning in Arizona and we couldn’t wait to get out and enjoy it! Before homeschooling, we went for a walk around our new resort. We wanted to see where everything was, take some pictures and pick some fresh lemons, grapefruits and oranges.
After our walk, we spent some time basking in the sun, then we opted to start our Homeschooling outdoors. After all, not everyone has the luxury of homeschooling outdoors in 80 degree weather towards the end of November! We might as well enjoy it while it lasts!
The boys enjoy Arizona too! They hung out on the table, basking in the sun, while we worked outside.
You may see the RV out my front door, but all I see is the Palm tree! Not to mention that the smell of citrus fruits fills the air!
Arizona is lovely! The weather is to die for…I can see why the snowbirds flock here in the Winter. As for the scenery, I am quite fond of the cacti, Palm trees and citrus trees…but, there’s just not enough green here for me. I miss the towering trees and RAIN and grass to do my yoga in! I don’t mind staying here for the winter, but I do hope the next place we go will have a couple of the things I just mentioned. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled to be here! All I REALLY care about is that we are together as a family. We own our home, are saving money, are together forever AND living in such tight quarters has brought us together on a level of bonding that we would’ve never been able to achieve otherwise. I am incredibly grateful that we are able to live life this way right now. The thing I am most grateful for, is to be able to fall asleep by my Husband’s side every night, every day after work he comes home and we give Daddy a great big hug and kiss and we can eat dinner together as a family. These are all things that we missed out on (and so much more) for a whole year of our lives. I’m so thankful to have them back for good.
I hope this post finds you all well, healthy and HAPPY-above all else! Blessed Be!
