Tie Dye and Fringe Boots!

Sorry I haven’t written in a while. This has been a LONG week and I just haven’t had the time. I still don’t. So, I’m going to keep the writing short and sweet and hopefully the pics will be enough to tie you over.  :)

Saturday, while shopping at Wal-Mart, I found some cute tie-dye stuff marked down to practically free!

c sleep

Sunday, while we were doing laundry, the rain came in somethin’ fierce! I kept the girls in the car so they wouldn’t get hit by lightning, and Cindy fell asleep on MHG’s lap. It was rather cute.

Monday, was a day dedicated to Ahdoo’s injury. He’s doing much better, btw. :)  It was also my Aunt’s Birthday!!! I love you so much! I hope your birthday was marvelous and I hope the ceiling light didn’t fall on the fix-it guy. ;)

Tuesday night, MHG and I played our favorite game…Labyrinth! It is a LOT of fun! The board is always changing and you have to get your guy to find the different treasures. There’s more to it, but that’s the gist of it. Cindy messed up all MHG’s Monster dolls and pouted because she wasn’t allowed to steal our game pieces. It was funny.

praying mantis

Wednesday, we had to do laundry again. Along our path, we saw a praying mantis. I’ve seen several here before, but this guy was as long as my Smartphone (which is about 5 inches)!

Naturally, laundry day (provided it isn’t raining) means park day! Boy do they love this park too!

It’s times like this that I love so much that we had girls! We get to play dress-up and match! We have a lot of fun around here…I kid you not!

Today, our package from my Mom came. She had found Cindy some knee-high fringe boots that match mine, AND she found them for only $4!!! It doesn’t get any better than that I tell you. Everytime I’ve found them, they’re $40, and I’m not about to pay that much money for a pair of shoes that are only going to fit for 6 months. So, THANK YOU MOM! Good lookin’ out! We love you!

green tomatoes

Last but not least, we discovered that MHG has EIGHT tomatoes growing on her tomato plant! She’s happy as a clam and can’t wait til they ripen…neither can I! ;)

In closing, I’m [pretty] sure that we’re going to take the girls to Washington, D.C. this weekend (or the next) to visit our nation’s capitol! Also, we’re still going to take a trip to Virginia Beach before we go. We want to see the Atlantic Ocean and also visit with my Husband’s Uncle, Sal. We are going to hold off on that though, for a couple more weeks, until DH is better suited for the water. For the time being, we are very much so looking forward to seeing Washington’s Monument, Lincoln’s Memorial, the Wall, and the White House. D.C. is only an hour away too, so it’s closer than the beach. I hope you are all doing well and I’ll try to not take a whole week to blog again.

For some added humor, I was looking through the pics I took this morning, and I found this one. I thought it was just as plain as the rest, until I realized Cindy was digging for gold. Now, it is easily my most favorite picture!!!
